Baldev Singh Grewal Newyork : "I was in graduation final year. 'Preetladi' published my story and famous writer Santokh Singh Dheer wrote a letter to me. I shared the letter with my friends while in the college canteen. 'What's biggy ? Its only a punjabi story !!', the words of one of the guys from the group knocked my heart. Those words changed my life and gave me direction and determination and I made up my mind to devote my life for punjabi journalism, punjabi literature and language". The meeting was held at the residence of punjabi poet Balbir Singh Dhumaili in newyork. |
