Shammi Aulkah, Born in Hillingdon, lived all his life in UK, still very close to punjabi culture by devoting his work and creations about punjab related activities through his creative skills in media and music creations. A true example of "Dil Apna Punjabi". Produced short films and music videos not only reflecting punjabi culture, but also holds credits for a full feature on 14th Sikh Regiemnt. Shammi Aulakh is an Actor/Filmmaker based in London. He was born in Hillingdon and has lived all his life in the UK. He studied Classical Drama at the world prestigious London Academy Of Performing Arts for two years. As a filmmaker he has made Short films, Music videos, Corporate Videos for training as well a full-length feature about the 14th Sikh Regiment. As an actor, he has vast experience on stage primarily with Tamasha Theatre Company. He has appeared in various commercials.He is also a keen photographer and hopes to one day publish a book on the photos of Asia.. Currently he is enrolled in a part-time Masters programme in Sikh Studies at Harrow. He is also a collector of Sikh antiquity and has various coins and swords dating back to the Sikh period of the 18th century. He is also a writer and currently working on a screenplay set during the times of the Partition of Punjab. |
