Celebrity singer Ishmeet Singh from Punjab, who shot to fame by winning the Voice of India (on Star TV) contest in November last year, drowned in a swimming pool on Tuesday at a resort in the Maldives [Images] where he had gone to take part in a concert.

Bahar Cheema, a sixteen year old Punjabi girl living in Dayton, Ohio, USA performed her Bharatnatyam Arangetram on the stage of the Springboro High school auditorium ,Dayton . The Arangetram is a culmination of years of training in the South Indian classical dance Bharatnatyam.
