On July 23rd Sunny Dhoorh vice president of Indian National Overseas Congress USA and president of Punjabi Cultural Society of Michigan hosted a dinner in honor of the Ambassador of India Mr. Ashok Atri along with his wife at Mr.Dhoorh’s home in Grand Rapids, MI.

Ms Karampal Kaur Mand bags the title of “Miss USA Punjaban 2010″ in a grand event organized by Punjabi Heritage Organization of California. Ms Nav Sandhu positioned herself at the second spot followed by Ms Marvir Kaur being third in the final standings.

The evening of June 19th, 2010 saw a significant event come to fruition in Grand Rapids, Michigan that is poised to strengthen the social, cultural, and economic bonds between the world’s largest and the oldest democracies: India and the USA.
