Punjabi Channel YPDTV to expand in California
The Punjabi TV channel in Yuba City, Yadaan Punjab Diyan also called YPDTV, which covers more than 400 miles broadcasting to more than 50 cities has been making efforts to produce more entertaining programs.
While talking to Mr. Ranjit Kandola, the director and producer of the channel, he mention to the press that YPDTV is expanding its program profiles. “We are in the process of analyising and creation of more community entertainment features ranging from documentry films to music video production in coming days”, said Mr. Ranjit Kandola to our media person.
“The punjabi commuity in California is huge and does needs a profile of programs which not only provide entertainment but also bring closer to their roots, I being a punjabi myself feel this void and this is one of the main cause for which punjabi TV channel YPDTV has been setup”, were the wordings of the director, when asked what the main focal point of the punjabi channel.
YPDTV also has plans to perform the talent search in the arena to showcase upcoming and bright youngsters who need a platform and opportuity to expose their talent as an artist.

this is prabhjot from india(delhi), i feel very glad you people doing good job in abroad for Punjab and Punjabiyat. about me i m working in Worldsapce Satellite radio (Punjabi) as a Radio Jocky. my programme theme is totly Folk like surinder kaur ,Lal chand yamla Jutt, Kartar ramla, Kuldeep manak, folk musical instruments, folk games, litrature .
i have a huge knowldge about Punjab becuse i m litrature student , writer, poet and i have wrote and writting lot of promos ,scripts, songs for singers.
i make the programmes , editing in sound forge ,eveything for my channel

We Sikhs daily say ” Sikhan da man nivan , Mat uchhi”. Should the nine MPs from punjab show their wisdom ( uchi mat) and support Dr. Mnamohan singh in the nuclear deal. As is it is punjab is going back for want of electricity. Akalis should not support the BJP who use to say ” Call Army and crush Punjab” in those days when Punjab was suffering. The Humble primeminister Dr Manmohan singh , who has representated world bank, Reserve Bank of India and is so simple and selfless should not be doubted for his integrity and honesty. Let the nine Sikh MPs from Punjab be asked to show their true wisdom ie ” Sikhan da Man niwan , Mat uchii”
