Dr. Kular immigrated to Canada from the Province of Punjab, India, in 1974. He obtained his medical degree from Guru Nanak Dev University before coming to Canada and doing two years of residency training in pediatrics at the IWK Hospital for Sick Children (Dalhousie University) in Halifax.
