Sikh American Society of Georgia ( SASGA ) will be holding its annual meeting on Feb-18-2007 , Sunday @ 6:00PM at the famous indian restaurant in atlanta, cafe Bombay. The meeting has been called by the president Mr. Manohar Singh Ji and Treasurer Avtar Singh Ji to discuss and plan the activities and work to be scheduled and conducted during the year 2007.

“Our group SASGA will hold a meeting to discuss the future planning for the year and to layout the plan for next 12 months, which will be a guideline for its members role and also responsibilites to work on”, said Mr Avtar Singh to the media here in Atlanta.

SASGA has always been ahead to organize, conduct and participate in the community activities in the Georgia region to stand on its mission “Create political awareness among Sikh American community and endeavor to integrate the community into mainstream America”. “Its the need of the community and SASGA members are always dedicated to server the community needs to make aware about the American Sikh community to other communities as well as the mainstream to make a better relationship and tighten the bond between”, told Mr Manohar Singh, the president of SASGA.

Mr Inderpal and Mr Surinder lalli who are are one of the most active members have also come up with new suggestions for the group which will be discussed on the table during the meeting. Proposals and suggestions from all other members will also be discussed on the table.

SASGA has gained a quite a good popularity in the georgia region based on its performance during the last few years and is growing fast as more and more people are joining the group. “SASGA is open to all, anyone who has the desire to serve or learn about the community is welcome to be part of our SASGA family”, mentioned by the president of SASGA.
