First of all I feel like very lucky as I got chance to write something about Bhisham Patama of Punjabi Lok Geet. Yamla Jatt is my Ustad. I got chance to see him and talk to about singing atleast 50 times. The reason I used to study in PAU Ludhian. His Dera was just 5 miles from the University. Most of the University faculty called Yamla Jatt as the King of Pujabi songs. Before start university study I saw Yamla Jatt on the rural stage of Punjab. I am talking about late 60ees. People were waiting for him for days. When he arrived on the stage people had lot of respect. I would love express my feeling as they resect as Pagamber of the stage. When moved toward the stage as wrestler, who feel he is the champion. No body can beat him. For hours people listened his own created songs. Befor singing he explained about the song. Then started to play Toombi, and everybody judged what his song is. Then he moved on the stage like a wrestler and watched his fans and felt great. He touched almost most of the issues in his songs. Beside his lots of qualities he felt himself as a servent of the public. He earned his name not money. People love him including young, old, and even child. His songs are ever lived. Babe Yamle Di Toombi Sada He Rahoo Wajdi. He will be the king of future Toombi players. I like when Hans says I am going talk about singer who is Peer Gawaia. Gurdas says I am his Murid. I love Yamla for 24 hrs, throughout my life.
